‘Inside a Scammer’s Mind’: An event at Meta SEAsia for influencers
EYEYAH! co-organised “Inside a Scammer’s Mind” – an event designed to engage content creators and media in deeper conversations about scam prevention.
The event featured a Fireside Chat with Clara Koh, Head of Public Policy Singapore and ASEAN at Meta; SUPT Rosie Ann McIntyre, Assistant Director of the Scams Public Education Office, Operations Department at the Singapore Police Force (SPF); and Nicholas Khoo, Chairman of the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC). The session was moderated by content creators, The Weeblings.

The discussion explored how online scams operate and highlighted the measures these organisations are taking to combat their spread in Singapore. It also reinforced the message that cyber resilience is a shared responsibility; one that requires collaboration across platforms, authorities, and the public.
EYEYAH! brought a creative twist to the event through a range of engaging activities designed to spark critical thinking around scams.
We showcased our interactive scam awareness game machine, which encouraged attendees to sharpen their observation skills while playing games that taught them how to recognise scam trigger words and red flags.

We also conducted a hands-on workshop, where participants learnt how to create scam awareness videos using visible thinking routines and illustrations, a method that makes complex ideas easier to understand and communicate.

Finally, we conducted a live heat-stamping activity where participants could choose from a range of scam themed graphics to customise their own t-shirt or tote bag.
