Empowering Gifted Learners: EYEYAH! trains Curriculum Designers
04 Jun 2025
EYEYAH! was invited by the Ministry of Education to run a workshop for curriculum designers on how visual literacy can be used in the Gifted Education Programme syllabus.
Using EYEYAH!’s illustrations and their latest issue on scams, educators explored how to pair visuals with Visible Thinking Routines from Harvard’s Project Zero. Through interactive, hands-on activities, educators discovered the power of observation, interpretation, and visual literacy in deepening student learning.
To wrap up the session, educators were challenged to design a lesson plan on the topics they teach, using visual thinking routines, and illustrations, transforming insights into actionable classroom strategies.
