Demystifying Design Thinking with Naval Base Kindergarten & Primary School

As part of the 2025 end of year retreat, EYEYAH! was invited to conduct a three-hour workshop with 150 educators from Naval Base Primary School & Kindergarten.

EYEYAH! guided educators through interactive, hands-on activities that demonstrated how empathy, convergent and divergent thinking can be taught in clear, engaging ways.

Teachers experimented with creative thinking games, quick prototyping exercises, and visual prompts that allowed them to experience the process from a student’s perspective.

Throughout the session, the focus was on building confidence, showing that design thinking does not need to be intimidating or time-consuming, but can be integrated into classroom practice through small, meaningful steps.

By the end of the session, teachers reported increased confidence in applying design thinking strategies in their lessons and a deeper understanding of how to cultivate a design-thinking mindset in their students.
