Building Cyber-Smart Families at Digital for Life Festival 2025
EYEYAH! x Meta brought its creative approach to cyber wellness over two weekends at IMDA Digital for Life Festival at VivoCity and Heartbeat@Bedok.
Visitors experienced “Is This Legit?”, an interactive scams awareness game created with Meta and inspired by EYEYAH!’s 9th issue on scams. The game transformed learning into play, challenging participants to spot online red flags and question what’s real in today’s world of digital deception.
EYEYAH! also showcased Digital Conversation Cards about online safety, designed to spark meaningful discussions between parents and children about digital habits, online empathy, and safety.
We were honoured to be visited by several distinguished guests, including Mr Gan Kim Yong, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore; Ms Rahayu Binte Mahzam, Minister of State for Health and Minister of State for Communications and Information; Mr Kunjan Muralidharan Pillai, Senior Minister of State for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Law; Mr Hamid Razak, Member of Parliament for Jurong Spring; Mr Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore; Grassroots Leader Ms Cassandra Lee Shi Wee and members of the Media Literacy Council.

Their presence underscored the importance of fostering digital literacy and cyber wellness among families in Singapore’s ever-evolving technological landscape. By encouraging open and ongoing conversations from a young age, families can develop their resilience, awareness, and confidence they need to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
