EYEYAH! x Tencent Safe Gaming Programme
Together with Tencent Singapore and in support of Digital for Life, EYEYAH! created a playful, conversation-led programme to encourage young people and families to explore healthy gaming habits in a fun, engaging, and relatable way.
In conjunction with IMDA, the programme was launched on 2 May 2026 at Ci Yuan Community Club. Families were invited to explore how gaming can become a healthy, positive experience through creativity, conversation, and play. The event was visited by Jamin Lau, Minister of State for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information.

Through playful prompts and conversation-based activities, families were encouraged to have open discussions about screen time, daily routines, online behaviour. The prompts sparked discussions around how they can support one another in building healthier gaming habits, without turning gaming into a source of conflict.

At the heart of the experience is an interactive personality quiz where children can discover which safe gaming character they are.
Designed around different gaming personalities and habits, the quiz used playful scenarios and questions to encourage children to reflect on healthy gaming behaviours such as balancing screen time, being kind online, protecting their privacy, and learning how to work together with parents to build healthier gaming routines.

To bring the experience to life, EYEYAH! designed a series of original characters inspired by different gaming personalities; each representing positive digital habits and behaviours in a fun way.

Participants also engaged with interactive worksheets that encouraged young people to reflect on their own digital habits. Through creative activities, they were invited to design their own original characters inspired by their gaming behaviours, routines, and online personalities

Families also got to take home collectible merchandise including tote bags, blind bags with character keychains, and conversation cards inspired by the safe gaming characters and themes explored throughout the experience.

Extending the experience into schools, EYEYAH! also developed an assembly talk that is complimentary to MOE schools.

It introduces students to healthy gaming habits in an engaging, accessible, and highly interactive way. The programme was piloted at Queenstown Primary School, where students explored topics such as balancing screen time, online kindness, teamwork, and digital wellbeing through playful discussions and activities.
Some of the feedback we received from teachers included:
“The slides were so beautifully curated for the primary school students. The emcee was really engaging and clear! We truly enjoyed it! Thank you Tencent team!”
“It was amazing! The students loved the interactive elements of answering questions to collect stickers as well as the use of the flash cards in their handbooks.”

To deepen the learning experience beyond the classroom, EYEYAH! also designed hands-on workshops that will be conducted at NLB libraries, where students will be able to participate in creative activities, discussions, and collaborative challenges exploring digital wellbeing, gaming culture, and healthy online habits.
