Exhibition opens to public on Sat 2 April and runs until 3 July 2022.

The free family-friendly installation features over 20 artworks and animations that explore the theme ‘Anxiety’ through multiple perspectives, with contributing artists and designers from Singapore and 12 other countries. Artists were invited to illustrate their interpretation of what anxiety looks and feels like, its causes, positive and negative anxiety, and ways to overcome anxiety.

“There is a need to approach mental health from a cool new perspective.  Visuals speak directly to the sub-consciousness and trigger viewers to slow down, observe, analyse and interpret each image to see how it might relate to their own lives.” Says Tanya Wilson Chua, Education Lead EYEYAH!

“The topic of anxiety could not be more relevant, especially for children and teens growing up in these VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) times. Creativity is the key to overcoming challenges with imagination, courage and grit. We are delighted to support this meaningful programme that uses design as both a medium and a tool to raise a new generation of resilient creative thinkers. May they be inspired and empowered to create a better world by design.” Says (Madeleine Ho, Director (Marketing, Communications and Programming), DesignSingapore Council.

Visitors to the exhibition can pick-up a free copy of the magazine (worth SGD10), from 2 April 2022 – 21 May 2022, whilst stocks last.
